Longtime Echo Lake camper Laura DellaFera will sing the National Anthem at Fenway Park on Sunday August 31, at 1:30 pm. The Boston Red Sox will play against the Chicago White Sox.

Pamela Erens's first novel, The Understory, has been named a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for a first novel or story collection. The Understory is available on Amazon and at many independent booksellers. For more information, check out Pamela's website at www.pamela-erens.com. Pamela and her family (Jonathan, Abraham, and Hannah Ratner) attended Echo Lake Camp in 2004 and 2007 and are looking forward to returning this summer.

Doreen and Mark Gamell family news: Jenny will be starring in a new play, "Ride" by Eric Lane, at the Wellfleet Harbor Actor's Theatre in Wellfleet, MA from June 4 to June 29. Ashley graduates from Middlebury College on May 25th, and Doreen is preparing another concert for the Fall.
